Rams vs Cardinals Prediction

The Los Angeles Rams (0-1) will try to keep dominating the Arizona Cardinals (0-1) in this NFC West clash on Sunday, Sept. 15, at 4:05 p.m. ET.

Matthew Stafford came close to overcoming offensive line issues in an overtime loss to the Lions in Week 1. On the other side, the Cardinals blew an early lead vs the Bills.

This has the look of a close game, but Sean McVay and the Rams have had the edge over the Cardinals in recent meetings. Check out the latest Rams vs Cardinals odds as well as my predictions and best bets for this Week 2 clash.

Rams vs Cardinals Odds

NFL odds are current as of Friday, Sept. 13, and courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

  • Moneyline: Rams (-102) vs Cardinals (-118)
  • Spread: Rams +1 (-110) vs Cardinals -1 (-110)
  • Over/Under: Over 47.5 (-112) / Under 47.5 (-108)

Rams vs Cardinals Prediction

Rams 27, Cardinals 21

Let’s take a look at the Rams’ recent matchups vs the Cardinals with a healthy Matthew Stafford:

  • W 37-14
  • W 26-9
  • W 20-12
  • W 34-11
  • W 30-23
  • L 37-20

It’s clear that Sean McVay has an edge over this team.

While Los Angeles is dealing with a decimated offensive line, the good news is that the Cardinals have one of the worst pass rushes in the NFL.

I’m expecting the Rams to feed Cooper Kupp through the air and let Kyren Williams go to work on the ground, especially vs a vulnerable Cardinals defense.

Even though the Rams’ defense is a question mark as well, we haven’t seen Kyler Murray get in sync with rookie wideout Marvin Harrison Jr. just yet.

I give the edge to the Rams on both sides of the ball in this matchup. Look for them to avoid an 0-2 start with a much-needed win against Arizona.

Sportsbook Play of the Day

Rams vs Cardinals Best Bets

Rams +1 (-110) @ Cardinals

The Rams are only 1-point road underdogs despite playing without Puka Nacua and dealing with a decimated offensive line.

That tells me that the market agrees that Sean McVay seems to have an edge against this Cardinals team.

I’m reading the line here and rolling with the better team on the road. Go with the spread over the moneyline to give you the option to push with a 1-point loss.

It was impressive to see the Rams keep it so close vs a tough Lions team last week. Matthew Stafford looked terrific, which is why you should go with the Rams as 1-point underdogs with your NFL bet of the day.

Tyler Johnson: Over 34.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

We saw Tyler Johnson put up a career-high 79 yards when Puka Nacua went out last week. Granted, 63 of those yards came on one play, but it’s still worth noting.

The Rams use 3-WR sets at a high rate, and Sean McVay called Johnson “the next man up" in Nacua’s absence.

We’re getting a low bar at 34.5 receiving yards against an exploitable Cardinals defense.

Look for Johnson to build off last week’s performance with another strong game against Arizona.
