The 2024 NFL season is finally here, so it’s time to dive into the props market to try to find an edge.
We may find lines that are too high or low because some players have unclear usage to start off the season.
With that in mind, let’s dive into my favorite NFL props for Week 2.

The Cowboys are dominant at home, where they tend to score a lot of points — just take a look at their recent game log with Dak Prescott under center:

As we can see here, the Cowboys went Over 26.5 points in eight of nine home games last season.
We just saw Dallas pour on 33 points in a road win vs a tough defense in the Browns.
I’m not worried about the Saints defense slowing them down in this spot.
We’re getting below key numbers of 27 and 28 with this bet, making it an appealing wager.
Best Football Player Props For NFL Week 2
Daniel Jones: Over 208.5 Passing Yards (-115)
WAGER: 1 unit • DraftKings Sportsbook
Daniel Jones is one of the worst starting quarterbacks in the NFL, coming off a dreadful performance vs the Vikings.
But I’m on Over 208.5 passing yards in a great spot against the Commanders.
This is a pace-up spot, since Kliff Kingsbury likes to play fast in Washington.
That can result in more opportunities for the entire Giants offense.
It’s also worth noting that the Commanders didn’t show any improvements vs the pass in Week 1, allowing 289 yards (9.6 Y/A) to Baker Mayfield.

Let’s try to make it two in a row with the pick’em below.
The Week 2 Underdog Pick’Em focuses on the Seahawks vs Patriots game.
This is a projected low-scoring game with a 37-point total, so we’re focusing on Unders with this pick’em.
I’ll start with Geno Smith Under 231.5 passing yards. We just saw the Patriots hold Joe Burrow to only 164 yards. Geno struggled vs the Broncos — I don’t expect much improvement in New England.
Let’s add DK Metcalf Under 62.5 receiving yards. The Patriots have an emerging star at cornerback in Christian Gonzalez. I’m willing to fade Metcalf in this low-scoring game environment.
Kenneth Walker Under 67.5 rushing yards also looks good because not only do the Patriots have one of the best run defenses in the NFL, but Walker is currently banged up with an abdominal injury.
We’ll finish it off with Rhamondre Stevenson Under 63.5 rushing yards. While he looked great vs a soft run defense in Cincinnati, we just saw Seattle completely shut down the Broncos’ running game.
Building this four-leg pick’em provides you with an 8.54x payout. Betting $100 on this would pay $854.

When you take a look at a player’s performance combined with the spread, total, and any relevant injuries, player props will become easier.
