Monday Night Football signals the end of the NFL week, but the league does a great job of saving some of its best games for last.
The 2024 MNF schedule is loaded with intriguing matchups, and even better ones can be flexed into primetime from Weeks 12-17.
As we get set for another year of Monday Night Football on ESPN and Bill Belichick’s arrival on the ManningCast on ESPN2, let’s examine the 2024 MNF schedule and the betting odds for every game.

Monday Night Football Schedule
Week 1: New York Jets vs San Francisco 49ers
This MNF matchup has several intriguing storylines, making it one of my top 10 NFL games of 2024.
Last season, the New York Jets opened their season on Monday Night Football against the Buffalo Bills, and Aaron Rodgers suffered a season-ending Achilles tear after playing just four snaps.
Rodgers will look to make amends in San Francisco against the hometown team he hoped would draft him with the No. 1 pick back in 2005.
Until we see how the Jets look with Rodgers under center, I’d back the 49ers at home.
Week 2: Atlanta Falcons vs Philadelphia Eagles
This early-season battle of the birds is sure to be a hoot.

Kirk Cousins leads the new-look Falcons into Philadelphia to take on the Eagles, who need a strong start after collapsing down the stretch of the 2023 campaign.
Week 3: Jacksonville Jaguars vs Buffalo Bills
The first of four Monday Night Football double-headers takes place in Week 3.
The early game (7:30 p.m. start) sees the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Buffalo Bills in a battle of two teams trying to break through in the crowded AFC.
Week 3: Washington Commanders vs Cincinnati Bengals
The second game of the evening starts 45 minutes later in Cincinnati, where Joe Burrow will face Jayden Daniels in a matchup of two LSU Heisman Trophy-winning quarterbacks.
May the best Bayou Bengal win.
Week 4: Tennessee Titans vs Miami Dolphins
Another week, another Monday Night Football double-header.
To kick this one off, the Titans travel to Miami to take on Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins’ lightning-quick offense.
Week 4: Seattle Seahawks vs Detroit Lions
In the second MNF game of Week 4, the Seahawks will try to continue their impressive recent record against the Lions at Ford Field. They have beaten Detroit at home in back-to-back seasons.
If this game is anything like those high-scoring affairs, we should see plenty of offense.
Week 5: New Orleans Saints vs Kansas City Chiefs
As the back-to-back Super Bowl champs, the Kansas City Chiefs are no stranger to primetime games.

This MNF matchup against the Saints will be the third standalone contest Andy Reid’s team plays in the opening five weeks before its early-season bye.
Week 6: Buffalo Bills vs New York Jets
Many long-suffering Jets fans will have some angst about playing the Bills at home on Monday Night Football after what happened last season.
But if you take the glass-half-full approach, this game presents Rodgers an opportunity to rewrite the script in front of the New York crowd.
Week 7: Baltimore Ravens vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The third MNF double-header of the 2024 campaign kicks off at 8:15 p.m. ET with a matchup of 2023 division winners. However, both teams are second-favorites to retain their division titles, per DraftKings Sportsbook.
The Buccaneers are more likely to regress, so backing the Ravens on the road makes sense. Plus, Baltimore has won five straight head-to-head meetings with Tampa Bay.
Week 7: Los Angeles Chargers vs Arizona Cardinals
This inter-conference showdown kicks off at 9 p.m. ET, so it’s clear that the NFL is trying to better connect with its audience on the West Coast.
Those of us on the other side of the country could be tempted to bail at the end of the first game, especially if Justin Herbert’s Chargers or Kyler Murray’s Cardinals are up big late.
Week 8: New York Giants vs Pittsburgh Steelers
Giants-Steelers isn’t thought of as a rivalry game, but these two franchises have played 78 times since the 1930s.
New York leads the all-time series 44-31-3 but has lost four of the last five meetings. Mike Tomlin’s squad looks better equipped to keep that run going on MNF.
Week 9: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Kansas City Chiefs
The Buccaneers return to the MNF spotlight for the second time in three weeks, only to face another stern test in the Chiefs.

Kansas City QB Patrick Mahomes owns a 7-3 record on Monday Night Football, but two of those losses came last season. Let’s see if he can turn the tide in 2024.
Week 10: Miami Dolphins vs Los Angeles Rams
The Rams will make their season debut on MNF in Week 10 when they host the Dolphins at SoFi Stadium in a matchup of 2023 playoff teams.
This contest should tell us a lot about where these teams stand just after the season’s halfway mark.
Week 11: Houston Texans vs Dallas Cowboys
Everything is bigger in Texas, so this in-state MNF showdown between the Texans and Cowboys will be huge.
I can’t wait to see C.J. Stroud and Dak Prescott, two of last year’s league leaders in passing yards per game, go toe-to-toe for the first time at AT&T Stadium.
Week 12: Baltimore Ravens vs Los Angeles Chargers
Sibling rivalry will be the focus of MNF Week 12 when John Harbaugh’s Ravens visit Jim Harbaugh’s Chargers.
This game will mark the fourth time the brothers have coached against each other in the NFL. John and the Ravens won the three previous meetings, including their famous matchup in Super Bowl 47.
Let’s see if a change of scenery can spark Jim to finally take down his older brother.
Week 13: Cleveland Browns vs Denver Broncos
Monday Night Football games can be flexed according to the NFL’s discretion starting in Week 12, and this lackluster matchup to close out Thanksgiving week feels like a potential candidate.

The Broncos are in the midst of a rebuild and could be starting rookie QB Bo Nix, while the Browns feel like an AFC dark horse at best.
Week 14: Cincinnati Bengals vs Dallas Cowboys
A late-season matchup between Joe Burrow and Dak Prescott? Sign me up.
This game should tell us a lot about both Super Bowl hopefuls as we enter the season’s final stretch.
Week 15: Chicago Bears vs Minnesota Vikings
The final MNF double-header of the campaign arrives in Week 15 and starts with an NFC North showdown between the Bears and Vikings at 8 p.m. ET.
It will be interesting to see which of the first-round quarterbacks, Caleb Williams or J.J. McCarthy, is further along in their development come mid-December.
Week 15: Atlanta Falcons vs Las Vegas Raiders
The second game of the night kicks off at 8:30 p.m. and features two teams with differing expectations.
The Falcons are favored to win the NFC South, while the Raiders are +300 underdogs to make the playoffs. Antonio Pierce’s squad overcame significant odds last season; let’s see if he can spark another impressive late-season run.
Week 16: New Orleans Saints vs Green Bay Packers
No matter the opponent, there’s something special about watching the Packers play at Lambeau Field around the holidays.

You can almost guarantee we’ll see a frozen tundra when the Saints march into Titletown.
Week 17: Detroit Lions vs San Francisco 49ers
The 2024 MNF schedule finishes with a bang, as the San Francisco 49ers host the Detroit Lions in an NFC Championship Game rematch on New Year’s Eve eve.
These two teams could be vying for the NFC’s No. 1 seed, but even if there aren’t high stakes, Lions HC Dan Campbell will do anything to win this one after his team blew a 17-point lead against the Niners in January.
